I am considering moving back to Philly in the next few years. I started reading The Phillyist just in time for a news story about a man who attacked a random person with a hammer on the subway, chased the person out onto the platform and tried to throw him onto the subway tracks.
my sister lives in Philly. I lived there briefly, too, up around spring garden st. it is indeed teeming with criminal activity, and lunatics of all inclinations. has its wonders, as well, many many.
Thanks for saying this. I've been reading too much news, which means too much bad news about it.
